Donation Drive

The number of children and adults with Autism is on the rise! According to CDC, 1 out of every 110 children in the USA has Autism. The Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the Autism Society of America is launching a donation drive to expand our support services. We rely totally on donations to fund our events and services so no contribution is too small. Please consider asking family, friends, neighbors and coworkers to join our drive to increase support for the growing numbers of individuals and families affected by Autism. If you are unable to donate monetarily, please consider donating your time instead. We are always in need of dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers.

As a thank you to those who can donate we would like to offer the following rewards:

The Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the Autism Society of America is a registered 501(c)3 charity and your donations will be tax deductible. Your donations will allow the chapter to continue offering events like the Annual Zoo Day we hold every April, and the various speakers that are sponsored throughout the year. We also publish an informative newsletter twice a year, provide information and referral services through our website, internet list serve, and phone line. The Chapter continues to offer grants to local parent groups throughout the five county area and sponsors the annual puzzle ribbon campaign at area schools every April.

Our Chapter is an all volunteer organization. That means that every dollar donated goes directly to helping the Chapter support families and raise awareness in our communities. Thank you again for your generous support.

Tribute Donations

Many of us make charitable donations as a way to memorializing a loved one, or honoring a birthday, anniversary, or other special occasion. How about making the Autism Society of America, Greater Philadelphia Chapter, a recipient of your next donation? Upon receipt of a tribute request, a handsome acknowledgement card will be sent to the family of the person you wish to memorialize, or to the person you wish to honor, and, unless otherwise specified, the tribute will appear in the next issue of our newsletter.
